HomeKit plays then stalls (2026-11-01)¶

TL;DR¶

After workflow run 41368660690, AirPlay/Home starts then stops in about a second. Diagnosis was green: Personal phone on KrustyKrab, Allow Personal → IoT + return, hubs online. Sustained media is still open (Apple TV fixed-IP hygiene + hub reboot). Do not move the Kitchen HomePod to HotSignals — that EAP path was tried and caused Home No Response; see HomePod EAP correction.

Known gaps / drift¶

Apple TV fixed_ip=192.168.1.109 while live .106 on IoT.
Original stall entry wrongly recommended HotSignals; superseded by the EAP correction journal.

What remains¶

Owner: put HomePod back on The LAN Before Time if it was moved to HotSignals; keep UniFi network=IoT / .124; power-cycle.
Owner: clear/fix Apple TV fixed IP; ≥30s AirPlay from iPhone.
If still stalls: UniFi UI re-check return traffic; Graylog DROPs during stream.
